Where?

Name in Lights is a national competition in the UK but anyone from anywhere in the world can enter.

The massive illuminated winning name will be installed on the top of Birmingham Central Library (one of the largest and most important libraries in Europe) which is part of Paradise Forum in the centre of Birmingham and is a landmark building. The 1974 Brutalist building designed by John Madin takes the form of an inverted ziggurat (a terraced pyramid) and was famously described by Prince Charles as “looking more like a place for burning books, than keeping them”.

When it is illuminated the name in lights will be seen by over 60,000 people every day.
