This wonderful man is disabled with a long term neurological condition, despite this he raises money for charities, often to the detriment of his own health, a former nurse, he was awarded in 2005 with a National volunteer of the year award for service to charity. He is a champion of disabled persons rights and continues to voice his concerns at every opportunity. A true and loyal friend who definitely wears his heart on his sleeve. Always has a sympathetic ear for any one in trouble, and will always try and help and advise within his capabilities, for anyone needing someone to talk to.

I am honoured to say I know this very gentle man. Despite his trials and tribulations through life , he is always there for others, as he always says, it’s my body that’s failing me, not my will power! through this illness.
